How many people are actually involved? What’s the level of service they can offer? Could they handle complex product development?

I am a one man band & do not wish to hide that. What I believe sets my services apart is my depth of experience offering both Industrial Design and Design Engineering services. My Industrial Design has contributed to Red Dot design award winning products and my Design Engineering services have been used by household names such as Shark Ninja from 2023 onwards.

I may occasionally use the royal ‘we’ on my website. This is because on certain projects I partner with other freelancers or manufacturers to deliver the project.

Transparent communication does not stop on my website. Developing products is a marathon not a sprint so to ensure expectations are met time and again throughout the process I give my clients regular, clear, honest updates so they stay abreast of development & stay in control.

I have worked in the design industry from 2014 onwards in both Design Engineering & Industrial Design capacities developing products in the following sectors:

Consumer, Kitchenware, Vacuum Cleaners, Homeware, Worn Electronics, Neurotech, Medical, Toys, Furniture, Road Signs and Safety Equipment.

I am an experienced designer and I am the one who will be on the tools, developing your product with you. We only bring in other senior level freelancers if they are required for certain elements of your project.

This means the development process is lean, adaptable and is excellent value compared to using more established consultancies.

I want to make the world a better place by developing useful products that solve real problems for people. That’s been my goal since I found out about physical product design on an art foundation course I completed in 2010.

Physical product design is something that I have a deep respect and love for. It is not about high-turnover for me, it is about pushing the development of physical products as far as I can take it. Creating products that become timeless by a dedicated focus on improving & reducing designs to their most fundamental elements. There is a Japenese idea:

‘Ikigai’

Which translates as one’s ‘reason for being’. This is what Physical Product Design is for me & that level of dedication is what I offer to all my clients.
